The Power of Being a Peacemaker
Beloved, call your spirits to the front and ask your souls to step aside. Today let's explore Matthew 6:9: "Blessed are the peacemakers, for they shall be called the children of God." Who are these peacemakers, and how can you become one?
Who Are the Peacemakers?
Contrary to popular belief, peacemakers are not just those who talk about peace; they are the people actively building it. They construct bridges—figurative and sometimes literal—that foster unity and harmony. Peacemakers are perhaps people like you and me who, in our own unique ways, bring the teachings and love of Jesus Christ into the hearts of humanity.
The Path to Inner Peace
If you're seeking peace in your family, your community, or even between cultures and races, know this: there can be no external peace if there's a war raging within your heart and soul. So how can you achieve inner peace?
Making Peace with Yourself
The first step is to meeting the greatest peacemaker of all time—Jesus Christ, "The Prince of Peace." He lived, died, and rose again, and today, He seeks to be your closest friend, helping you find the tranquility you crave.
A Blessing for Peacemakers
Child of God, be blessed today to be a peacemaker. Let Jesus become your friend. Embrace a positive self-image and live by it. Be blessed to be relaxed, and not an uptight Christian. Be free from the emotional garbage that manifests as anxiety, fear, tension, or insecurity. Become a possibility thinker, saying, "I can do all things because I am a somebody; I am a friend of Christ."
May you be blessed in the name of Jesus of Nazareth as you walk the path of a peacemaker. Amen!
